The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee held a conference on July 17-18 in the province’s Pleiku city for disseminating religious laws to local officials from Vietnam’s Central region.
Attending the conference’s opening ceremony included Vice Chairman of the GCRA Trần Tấn Hùng, Vice Chairwoman of Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee Huỳnh Nữ Thu Hà, and participating officials tasked with religious affairs from sectors of home affairs, mass mobilization work, public security and the offices of people’s committee from 17 provinces and cities in the Central region, including the Central Highlands.
The two-day conference covered topics on the current religious life in the country, as well as, State policies and laws on religion, religion-related laws on housing and land, and new contents of the Law on Belief and Religion.
