The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on July 6-7 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province a conference for dissemination of religious laws to dignitaries and deacons of religious organizations in the Southern region.
Attending the event included Executive Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Đặng Minh Thông and over 200 religious dignitaries and deacons from 20 Southern provinces and cities.
The two-day event focused key contents of State’s policies on belief and religion, the new Law on Belief and Religion passed by the National Assembly in November last year, the land law and issues related to religion in Vietnam.

After this conference, the GCRA will organize a similar conference also in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on July 10-11 for participants who are state officials working in the religious affairs sector in the Southern region.
