Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng led a delegation at a working meeting with Can Tho municipal authorities on December 14.
Attending the meeting included Standing Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Lê Văn Tâm and Vice Chairman of the municipal religious committee Võ Ngọc Hà.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged on the state administration on religion in the locality, as well as concerning practical issues contributing to socio-economic development in the city.
On occasion of a working trip to Can Tho, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng also visited and met with the executive committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter in the city, the Bishop of Can Tho Diocese, and Buddhist and Catholic training institutions in the city.
