A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Director of the GCRA’s Belief and Other Religions Department Trần Thị Minh Thu paid visits on January 19 to religious organizations of the Cham community in Ninh Thuan province, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.
Delegation’s visit to Council of Cham Brahmin Dignitaries in Ninh Thuan province
The delegation visited the Council of Cham Brahmin Dignitaries, the Bani Islamic community’s Dignitary Council and the Cham Islamic community’s Representative Committee in the province.
During the visits, while conveyed Tet greetings from the GCRA leader to dignitaries and lay followers of the religious organizations, Director Trần Thị Minh Thu also expressed hope that Cham religious dignitaries would continue promoting their roles in guiding lay religious to practically contribute to the Covid-19 prevention work and the socio-economic development in the locality.
