GCRA delegation extends New Year visits to religious organizations in Northern provinces

On January 17-19, a delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) paid visits to several religious organizations in Northern provinces, ahead of the upcoming traditional New Year (Tet) festival.

The delegation led by Director of the GCRA’s Department of Buddhist Affairs Bùi Hữu Dược visited local religious organizations of Protestantism, Catholicism and Buddhism in provinces of Lang Son, Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Thai Binh.

 

During the visit meetings, Director Bùi Hữu Dược expressed Tet wishes to dignitaries and followers of religious organizations. He also asked local religious leaders to continue encouraging followers to actively engage in patriotic movements for boosting socio-economic development in the country.
