A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương paid visits from December 17-19 to several Christian Churches in Ho Chi Minh City, ahead of Christmas 2020.
During the visits, Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương conveyed wishes of Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Home Affairs Ministry and the GCRA’ leaders to dignitaries and members of Christian churches in the city.
She also highlighted practical contributions made by Christian churches and congregations in Ho Chi Minh City for social charity works and the Covid-19 epidemic preventions over the past year.
Director Thiều Thị Hương took the chance to exchange with the guests on major events of Christian churches in 2021 and asked them to observe administrative procedures prescribed by the Law on Belief and Religion in hosting these Christian events.
She also expressed hope that Christian dignitaries would continue guiding members of Christian churches for making further practical contributions to socio-economic development in the country.
