From November 28 to 30, a delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng paid a working visit to Hau Giang province for inspecting the implementation of the law on belief and religion.
During the working trip, the delegation had meetings with the provincial People’s Committee, Department of Home Affairs and local authorities in districts of Vi Thuy and Chau Thanh, and visited several religious establishments and organizations in the locality for exchange and discussion of the religious situation and the implementation of laws on belief and religion.
Hau Giang province has 18 registered religious organizations with over 200,000 followers, 155 religious establishments and 217 worshipping facilities of folk beliefs.
