On occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday 2015 (B.E. 2559), on May 28, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Phạm Dũng led a delegation to visit and congratulate the Da Nang city Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS).
Most Venerable Thích Chí Mãn, Member of the VBS Executive Council, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang city VBS Executive Committee and members of the city VBS Executive Committee welcomed the delegation.
Speaking during the visiting reception, GCRA Chairman Phạm Dũng highly praised great contributions made by the city Buddhism over the past years and expressed his hope that Buddhist dignitaries in the city would further encourage monks, nuns and followers to promote fine traditions of Vietnam Buddhism, contributing to the cause of national construction and defense.
