At the appraising meeting

The film is part of the project supporting information and propaganda on ethnicity and religion approved by Prime Minister’s Decision No. 219/QD-TTg dated February 2, 2019 (Project 219).

The documentary film consists of four episodes namely "Religious engagement in the national construction", "Promotion of the cultural and ethical values ​​of religions in social life", "Love-sharing during the Covid-19 pandemic", and "The attachment between the Party’s will and people’ heart and mind in the implementation of policies and laws on belief and religion”.

The appraising meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân, Senior Lecturer of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics cum Head of the documentary film’s appraisal council, and attended by other eight members of the appraisal council, representatives from the GCRA departments, and the documentary film’s production team.

During the meeting, the appraisal council unanimously assessed that the themes and contents of the four episodes have met tasks and requirements of the propaganda about religion and belief under Project 219. The film’s contents objectively reflected policies and laws of the Party and State on belief and religion, achievements in the State administration on religion, the role of religious organizations and individuals in the implementation of the states’ policies and laws, and the results and the efficiency in promoting cultural values, ethics and religious resources in social life by religious community, contributing to the national construction and development.

At the event, the appraising council has approved for broadcast of the documentation film with 9/9 votes in favor. Four documentary episodes would be broadcast from December 25 to December 29, 2021 on VTC Digital TV channel.
