Exchange program on religious affairs between Vietnam and Cambodia concluded

  On March 28, at Vung Tau city, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs held a closing ceremony for the conference on exchange of religious affairs with the Cambodian Ministry of Cults and Religion.

Attending the closing ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn, Deputy Director General of Religious Affairs Department from the Cambodian Ministry of Cults and Religion NaChanThaRit and 19 delegates from the Cambodian Ministry.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn highlighted practical contributions of the religious affairs exchange program to state governance on religious affairs in each country.

The one-week exchange program focused on state policies and laws, religions and state administration on religious affairs in Vietnam.

 In addition to the conference activities, the Cambodia delegates visited several worshipping places in the provinces of Ba Ria Vung Tau and Dong Nai.

On behalf of the Cambodian Ministry of Cults and Religion, Deputy Director  NaChanThaRit thanked the GCRA for its supports over the past years and expressed hope for more exchange and cooperation in the field of religion between the two agencies charge of administration on religious affairs, contributing to strengthen the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
