On September 19, Pastor President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) (ECVN) Nguyễn Hữu Mạc led a delegation to meet and extend congratulations to the new Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA).
At the visiting reception, Pastor President Nguyễn Hữu Mạc congratulated Mr. Vũ Chiến Thắng on being promoted as the GCRA’s new Chairman. He also took the chance to share with the GCRA’s new leader about the ECVN (North)’s activities and expressed hope that in the new position, the GCRA Chairman would further support and create favorable conditions for the Church’s activities in the coming time.
GCRA’s Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng thanked the ECVN delegation for the visit. He also praised the Church’s achievements over the past years and called on the Church to continue encouraging followers to actively join in patriotic movements, contributing to build the prosperous country of Vietnam.
