The Editorial Council of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Religious Affairs Magazine held on November 26 a meeting for reviewing its performance 2020 and outlining plans 2021.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, and attended by Professor Đỗ Quang Hưng from the Social Sciences and Humanities University under the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and other members of the editorial council and staff of the religious affairs magazine.
According to Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the GCRA’s magazine Dương Thúy Thịnh, For 2020, the religious affairs magazine has released 11 editions with the total of 13,190 copies.
In June 2020, the religious affairs magazine successfully held a seminar themed “Deviant worshipping practices in Vietnam” which attracted the participation of scholars and officials and drew a large number of presentation papers.

At the event, Professor Đỗ Quang Hưng supported the religious affairs magazine to additionally cover issues related to current religious needs, religious resources, human rights and spiritual practices, etc.

Addressing the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga asked the magazine’s editorial council to make more contributions to the government religious committee’s religious affairs magazine with an enhanced quality of articles, a focus on the state management on belief and religion, and more interviews when covering pressing issues.
