Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) cum Head of the editeral council of the GCRA’s Website chaired the annual meeting of the council held on March 25.
Attending the event included members of the editeral council and staff of the GCRA’s Information Center.
During the meeting, Director of the information center Ngô Mạnh Hùng presented a brief report on the operation of the website’ Vietnamese and English versions in 2019.
As reported, a total of over 2,800 news articles and video clips have been posted on the GCRA’s website in 2019.
At the event, members of the website’s editeral councils commented on the annual report on the operation of the GCRA’s website 2019, further pointed out weakenesses and limitations of the website, as well as gave opinions for overcoming remaining issues and improving the working efficiency of the operative website.

Addressing the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga asked members of the editeral council to make more contributions to the operation of the government religious committee’s website through timely orientation advises, professional-written articles, provision of updated and valuable information, and necessary assistance extended to journalists of the website in covering practical or hot issues.
She also asked the information center to focus on key tasks of the GCRA’s communication work through the electronic website in the coming time, including the dissemination of the state policies and laws on religion, especially the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree 162, results of the state governance on religion, religious diversity in Vietnam, and social & religious activities and contributions in the country.
