The Government Committee for Religious Affairs held on December 10 a conference for evaluating the documentation “Islam and Islamic culture” and a propagating material “Belief and belief affairs in Vietnam”.
The documentation to be published and the propagating material are part of the project on supporting information and propaganda on ethnicity and religion approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 219/QD-TTg dated 21/02/201 (Project 219).
The conference was chaired by Prof. Đỗ Quang Hưng, Senior Lecture of the Social Sciences and Humanities University under the National University in Hanoi cum Head of the documentation and the propagating material’ apprising council, and joint by members of the appraising council, and the documentation and the propagating material’ edition team.
During the event, members of the appraising council gave comments on the presentation paper on Islam and Islamic culture and approved its publication in accordance with the publishing process.
For the propagating material "Belief and belief affairs in Vietnam", the participants asked the edition team to strengthen the illustrations and provide consistent standards of references and data in the propagating material.
At the event, the appraising council has approved for the documentation and propagating material with 7/7 votes in favor.
