The Government Committee for Religious Affairs held on August 20-21 a conference to disseminate religious laws to key religious followers in Quang Tri province.
The opening ceremony’s event saw the participation of Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Trần Huy, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Văn Hiệt and over 250 dignitaries, deacons and clergies of religions in the province.
The two-day event covered topics on guidelines and policies of the Party and State on belief and religion, key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and the Government Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new belief and religious law.
In addition, the event also provided explanations on practical issues relating to the implementation of several articles prescribed in the new law and its guiding decree.
