The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Chapter in Ninh Binh province held on December 12 a meeting to disseminate the law on belief and religion to Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in the locality.
Attending the dissemination meeting included Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Thị Thanh, Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee Đỗ Việt Anh, and large numbers of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in the province.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn introduced key contents of the Law on belief and religion passed in last November that will take effect in January 2018.
