The Government Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee held from October 6-8 a disseminating conference for religious dignitaries, deacons and clerics in the province.
Present at the event were Director of the Government Religious Committee’s Legislation and Inspection Department Nguyễn Thị Định, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Hồ Hải Tần, and 350 dignitaries, deacons and clerics from religious organizations in the locality.

The three-day conference covered key contents of an overview of the current religious life in the country and the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on belief and religion, the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding decree, etc.
The program also provided discussion of issues relating the implementation of several provisions of the new law and its guiding decree, and introduction of the teaching subjects of history and law of Vietnam approved for religious training establishments.
