Joining the visits included Director of Government Committee for Religious Affairs’ (GCRA) Catholic Affairs Department Lê Minh Khánh, Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department in Lam Dong province Ngô Văn Đức, and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Minh An.   

During the visit, the officials met with Bishop of Da Lat diocese Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh, Priest Vicar General of the diocese John Bosco Hoàng Văn Chính, Pastor Commissioner of the ECVN in charge of pastoral affairs in Lam Dong KonSă Ha Hăck, Pastor Chairman of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the province Bùi Phụng.

Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng extends Christmas greetings to Da Lat Diocese

While extending Christmas greetings to all dignitaries, deacons, clergymen and clergywomen, lay followers of Da Lat Diocese and the ECVN in Lam Dong province, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng spoke highly of practical contributions made by religious organizations in general, and the Vietnam Catholic Church and the ECVN in particular, in strictly observing preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic, suspending religious practices with large gatherings, and rendering voluntary services and supports to the pandemic prevention and treatment of Covid-19 patients in the locality.

Speaking with the guests, Bishop Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh and Pastor KonSă Ha Hăck took the chance to thank the Ministry of Home Affairs, the GCRA and provincial authorities for supports and favorable conditions extended to religious affairs of the religious organizations over the past years.

On the occasion, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng conveyed Christmas greetings by of Chairwoman of the Organization Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Trương Thị Mai to Da Lat Diocese.
