A interdisciplinary delegation led by Deputy Minister of the Home Affairs Ministry Vũ Chiến Thắng held on July 14 a working meeting with authorities in Yen Bai province in implementing a plan reviewing the implementation of the Party’s Resolution 19 on policies and laws on land.
Joining the deputy minister included representatives of the General Department of Land Management under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Central Economic Commission, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.
Officials of the Yen Bai provincial government present at the meeting included Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in the province Ngô Hạnh Phúc and representatives of concerning provincial authorities.
The meeting heard a report on the ten-year implementation of the Resolution No.19 dated October 31, 2012 of the Party Central Committee on continuing to renovate the policies and laws on land in the period of comprehensively accelerating the renewal process.
The meeting also discussed difficulties and other practical issues in implementing the resolution.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng asked for a deeper and more comprehensive assessment of land issues in Yen Bai province according to the Resolution No.19, and recommendations for amendments and supplements during the reviewing process of the Resolution 19.
