Deputy Minister of Home Affairs pays visits to religious organizations of Cham communities in Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng on March 23-25 paid visits religious organizations of Cham people in provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces are home to the largest members of Cham people who mainly follow Muslim and Brahminism with five recognized religious organizations, including the Dignitaries Councils of Bani Islamic Community in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, the Islamic Community’s Representative Committee in Ninh Thuan, the Cham Brahmanism’s Dignitaries Council in provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
During the visits to the five Cham religious organizations, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng highlighted practical contributions made by Cham communities in promoting rural development, environment protection and climate change adaption, as well as upholding fine traditions for socio-economic development in the localities.
The Deputy Minister also expressed hope that dignitaries of the Islamic communities in two provinces would continue guiding members to practically contribute to the Covid-19 prevention work and the 15th National Assembly Elections for the 2021-2026 period.
