Deputy Minister of Home Affairs extends congratulations to conference of Vietnam Union of Superiors General 2020

Deputy Minister of the Home Affair Ministry Vũ Chiến Thắng participated on November 10 the annual conference 2020 of the Union of Superiors General of Vietnam held in Hai Phong city.  

Joining the Deputy Minister included Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức and Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Hai Phong Dương Ngọc Anh.

Addressing at the event, while extending congratulations and successes to the conference of the Vietnam Union of Superiors General, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng spoke highly of practical contributions of Catholic religious orders and congregations in the field of medication, preschool education, vocational training, social welfare, and supports for poor and vulnerable people.

The deputy minister expressed hope that Catholic priests, clergies will continue upholding fine traditions, enhancing close relations between authorities and Catholic religious orders and congregations, and making practical contributions for the country development.

Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức extends congratulations to Vietnam Union of Superiors General’s conference

Priest Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Superiors General Joseph Nguyễn Văn Quang took the chance to thank to Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức, and the municipal religious committee for their attentions extended to Catholic religious orders and congregations. The priest affirmed that he would continue fulfill civic duties and guide Catholics to accompany with the nation and promote love sharing to the country people.

The conference themed “Development and promotion of Catholic religious orders” taking place in cathedral of Hai Phong Diocese drew the participation of 150 delegates who are super generals and provincial generals from Catholic religious orders, congregations of the Vietnam Catholic Church.
