The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on May 16-19 three conferences in Dien Bien province on the implementation the Law on Belief and Religion for key Evangelical followers and cadres tasked with religious affairs in the locality.

The events saw the presence of Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương and Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Lê Đình Tuyên.
The conferences drew the participation of 400 dignitaries, deacons and heads of Protestant congregations, and 100 cadres tasked with religious affairs in the province.
The events covered updated information on Protestantism in the world and Vietnam, and key contents of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on religion and the state management on Protestantism.
The event also provided discussion of practical issues relating the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion in the locality.
