The GCRA leader was welcome by Bishop of Ba Ria diocese Emmanuel Nguyễn Hồng Sơn and Bishop of Phu Cuong diocese Joseph Nguyễn Tấn Tước.

During the visiting receptions, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng extended happy Christmas celebrations to the two bishops and Catholic followers in the dioceses. He also expressed hope that the dignitaries would continue guiding the faithful to promote the tradition of patriotism, stay closely attached to the nation and fulfill civic obligations.

On the same day, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng also visited Hoi Khanh pagoda located in Binh Duong province for meeting with Most Venerable Thích Huệ Thông, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) cum Chief of the VBS’s Southern Central Office.
