On August 21, the Vietnam Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1288/QD-TTg appointing Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA).
Major General Trần Ngọc Hà, Director of the Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security led on August 26 a delegation visiting and extending congratulations to new Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng.
On the same day, delegations from Home Affairs Department in Vinh Phuc province and the Center for Research & Preservation of Vietnamese Faith Culture of Belief visited and presented congratulatory flowers to the new deputy minister.
