Catholic solidarity committee extends congratulation to GCRA’s new Chairman

Priest Acting President cum General Secretary of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) Joseph Trần Xuân Mạnh led a delegation on November 11 to visit and meet with the new Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA).

During the visiting reception, Priest Joseph congratulated Mr. Vũ Chiến Thắng on being promoted as the GCRA’s new Chairman. He also took the chance to share with the GCRA’s new leader about the CSVC activities and expressed hope that in the new post, the GCRA Chairman would further support and create favorable conditions for the committee’s activities in the coming time.

Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng thanked the CSVC delegation for the congratulatory visit and praised the committee’s achievements over the past years. The GCRA Chairman also called on the committee to continue encouraging followers promote fine traditions for strengthening social unity, contributing to socio-economic development in the country.
