A delegation of Lang Son Diocese led by Bishop Giuse Châu Ngọc Tri paid on January 29 a visit to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on occasion of the traditional New Year (Tet) Festival 2018.
Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn welcomed the delegation.
During the visit, Bishop Giuse Châu Ngọc Tri extended Tet greetings to leaders and officials of the GCRA. The bishop also took the chance to thank the GCRA for its support extended to the diocese over the past years.
Congregation of Dominican Sisters visits and meets with GCRA representatives
On the same day, the Congregation of Dominican Sisters under Thai Binh Diocese in same province led by Superior Sister Nguyễn Thị Kim Sen also visited the GCRA.
At the reception hosted by Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn, Superior Sister Nguyễn Thị Kim Sen also extended Lunar New Year wishes to leaders and officials of the GCRA.
Speaking at the welcoming receptions, while extending New Year wishes to visiting Catholic dignitaries and followers, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn spoke highly of Catholic contributions to social cohesion and development in localities.
