Deputy Director of GCRA’s Caodai Affairs Department Nguyễn Thị Hương presents floral congratulations to the general conference

The event taking place at Phuc Duc oratory in the district’s Sai Son commune included Priest Ngọc Liêm Thanh, Head of the management board of Phuc Duc Caodai Parish, members of the parish’s management board and 150 delegates representing over 500 members of the parish.

Guests at the event included Deputy Director of the Caodai Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Thị Hương, Vice Chairman of the municipal Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Đinh Văn Khóa, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal Committee for Religious Affairs Phạm Bảo Khánh and representatives of the municipal authorities and religious organizations in the city.

The one-day conference reviewed results of Phuc Duc Caodai parish in the past term, approved working plans in the 2022-2027 tenure, elected the management board for the 2022-2027 tenure, as well as chosen delegates to attend the national congress of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, and nominated the appointment list of religious and deacons of the parish.

On the occasion, the municipal Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) and the People’s Committee in Quoc Oai district presented certificates of commendation to four groups and 13 individuals for outstanding achievements in the Caodai’s affairs and contributions in fostering the national solidarity in the 2017-2022 tenure.

Phuc Duc Caodai parish was established in 1952 and the construction of new oratory of the parish has been completed in 2005. The parish currently has 515 members, accounting for 10% the village population.
