Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắcon June 29 received a delegation Caodai Churches and organizations led by Cardinal President of Minh Chơn (Verity) Caodai Church Trần Đức Tăng.

Joining the reception included Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức, Chief of the GCRA’s Office Nguyễn Văn Long, Director of the GCRA’s Caodai Affairs Department Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên and Director of the GCRA’s Catholic Affairs Đinh Quang Tiến.
During the event, representatives from Caodai Churches and organizations informed that Caodai followers have proactively got involved in social, charitable programs such as operating charity clinics, sending relief supplies to provinces and cities to help victims of floods and natural calamities, running charity kitchens, providing meals to poor patients in hospitals. In 2021 and the first six months of 2022, Cao Dai churches and organizations have carried out social and charitable activities with the total amount of more than 70 billion VND.
During the reception while highly appreciating practical contributions of Caodaism, Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Hoài Bắc expressed hope that Caodai Churches and organizations would continue guiding their members to practice the religion in accordance with the law and follow the Church's motto “For the country's glory and religion's enlightenment”.
Caodaism currently has over 17,000 dignitaries, 43,000 deacons and 2.6 million VND with 988 parishes and 1,284 worshipping places operating in 35 provinces and cities.
