A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) paid on February 9 a visit to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on the occasion of the fast-approaching traditional Lunar New Year 2018.
The delegation led by Most Venerable Vice President of the VBS's Executive Council Thích Thanh Nhiễu was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà.
During the visiting reception, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu extended Lunar New Year greetings to the GCRA’s officials and staff, and took the chance to thank the GCRA for facilitating Buddhist practices over the past years.
Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà, while extending Tet greetings to the VBS delegation, expressed hope that Buddhist dignitaries would make further contributions to the solidarity and development of the Buddhist Sangha.
