The conference, co-organized by the Department of Protestant Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) and the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, was attended by over 200 leaders of Protestant congregations in provinces of Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh city.

State officials attending and speaking at the conference included Director of GCRA Protestant Affairs Department Hoàng Thị Thảo and Chairman of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Văn Ngon.

At the conference, participants learnt Protestant related contents, including State policies and laws on religion in general and Protestantism in particular, State policies for national and religious unity, and regulations for Protestant congregation’s activities.
