A delegation from the Vietnam Assemblies of God Church led by pastor Nguyễn Thanh Bình visited to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on January 29 ahead of the Traditional New Year (Tet festival) .
Deputy Chief of the GCRA’s Office Nguyễn Văn Long and officials of the Protestant Affairs Department welcomed the delegation.
On behalf of the Church, Pastor Nguyễn Thanh Bình extended Tet wishes to the GCRA’s leaders and officials and took the chance to thank the GCRA for its support extended to the Church’s activities over the past years.
Speaking to the guests, while extending Tet greetings to dignitaries and followers of the Church, Deputy Chief Nguyễn Văn Long praised practical contributions made by the Church in social and charitable activities.
The Vietnam Assemblies of God Church was granted the registration certificate for religious activities in 2009. The Church currently has over 30,000 followers in 30 provinces and city throughout the country.
