During the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, Priest Joseph Hoàng Trọng Hữu has volunteered coming to a quarantined commune of Son Loi in Vinh Phuc province’s Binh Xuyen district for serving the spiritual life and providing supports to local people.
As reported, Son Loi commune currently has two Catholic communities of Bao Ngoc and Ba Cau with 1,300 parishioners under Huu Bang parish.
According to Priest Vicar General of Bac Ninh Diocese Peter Nguyễn Công Văn, the provincial authorities sealed off the commune for about 20 days starting from February 12 to cope with Covid-19, and restricted gatherings in public places during this time for avoiding risks of cross-contamination to the community.
