At the ceremony

The event saw the presence of Deputy Director of the provincial culture, sport and tourism department Trần Xuân Lương, representatives of Loc Ha district and Phu Lu commune, and a large number of people in the locality.

Vinh Tuy temple, also known as Thanh Hoang (Tutelary) temple or Tran Duc Lan temple, is the worshipping place dedicated to mandarin Trần Đức Lân, who had merits in building Hong Duc dike and developing the wasteland in Vinh Thai, and was honored as the tutelary god of Vinh Tuy village both by King Tự Đức and King Khải Định.

As reported, Vinh Tuy temple was badly damaged and became ruins in 1962. It has been rebuilt since 1994, with a spacious three-room worshipping hall, and other auxiliary works such as a three-gate entrance and a bell tower, etc. The temple was recognized as a historical-cultural relic site at the Decision No.613/QĐ-UBND dated March 18, 2022 by the People’s Committee in Ha Tinh.
