Contributions to social development by religious organizations in Vinh Long City has been extolled at a meeting held on February 8.
The event held on occasion of the approaching lunar New Year 2018 was chaired by Chairman of Vinh Long municipal People’s Committee Nguyễn Trung Kiên and attended by a large number of religious dignitaries and entrepreneurs.
The meeting aimed to gather opinions and recommendations from dignitaries of religions and the business community in Vinh Long for boosting socio-economic developments in the province, as well as to honor contributions of religious dignitaries and entrepreneurs in 2017.
During the event, several outstanding religious dignitaries and entrepreneurs were presented with certificates of merit by Vinh Long municipal authorities for their contributions to the development of the city./.
