The Committee on Doctrine of the Faith under the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam held the 5th National Catechism conference at Xuan Loc Diocese from August 28 to September 1.
Attending the conference’s opening ceremony included Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh Archdiocese cum Chairman of the Committee on Doctrine of the Faith Paul Bùi Văn Đọc, Bishop of Xuan Loc Diocese Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo and about 240 clergymen and clergywomen who are Catechists from 26 dioceses across the country.
Speaking during the ceremony, Archbishop Paul Nguyễn Văn Đọc encouraged the conference participants to actively engage in discussions for better training catechists as preachers of Gospel in communion with God.
