The Vietnam United World Mission Church convened its third congress at Phu Hoa church in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city on August 5 to review its operations from 2011-2015, approve a working plan and select an executive committee for 2015-2019.
Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà, representatives from the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, local authorities and 700 Protestant dignitaries and followers from 14 provinces and cities in the whole country.

Pastor Ân Ước, President of the Church delivered a welcome speech urging Protestant delegates to make wise decision on selection of members to the new executive committee. He also expressed his thanks to the Party and State, central and local agencies for favorable conditions for the organization of the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà congratulated the Church’s achievements in the second term. He also acknowledged positive contributions by the Vietnam United World Mission Church through social and charitable activities, contributing to the cause of building and defending of the country.
