Vietnam Presbyterian Church opens first theological training

The Vietnam Presbyterian Church opened its first theological training course at a solemn ceremony held on February 21 at its office in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the ceremony were Pastor Founder of the Vietnam Presbyterian Church Nguyễn Xuân Bảo, Pastor President of the church Điểu Bôi, members of the church’s Standing Board and 15 enrollees who are Presbyterian pastors and evangelists from provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Phuoc.

Guests at the event included Deputy Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs’ Southern Department Trà Quang Thanh, local authorities and representatives of Korean Presbyterian community.

According to the Presbyterian Church, its first theological training will be held for the 2017-2021 academic course.
