Vietnam LDS Church extends Tet greetings to GCRA

A delegation of the representative committee of Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) led by Chairman Hoàng Văn Tùng paid a visit on February 5 to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) ahead of the Lunar New Year 2018.

The delegation was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn.

During the reception, Chairman Hoàng Văn Tùng extended Lunar New Year greetings to the GCRA’s officials and staff. The LDS chairman took the chance shared with the hosts the church’s activities in 2017 and expressed hope that the GCRA would further facilitate and guide religious activities of the LDS representative committee in Vietnam.  

Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn thanked the Vietnam LDS church for the visit and extended Lunar New Year greetings to the LDS representative committee as well as to all followers of the Vietnam LDS church.
