The Vietnam Golden Heart Fund in collaboration with the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Hanoi presented medial equipments to My Duc district General Hospital at a ceremony held on August 19.
Present at the presenting ceremony included Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi Nguyễn Thị Kim Dung, Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Khôi from the Vietnam Golden Heart Fund, Doctor Director of My Duc general hospital Nguyễn Khuyến, Director of Catholic Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Minh Khánh, and representatives from the Catholic solidarity committee in Hanoi and local authorities.
Overview of the ceremony
During the event, Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Khôi presented 9 medical equipments worth over 7 billion VND to My Duc General Hospital, including an automatic biochemical test machine, automatic hematology analysis, automatic immunoassay machine, etc.
The Vietnam Golden Heart Fund was established in 2011 with the aims to support poor people nationwide and students who excel in their studies, families of soldiers and invalids, as well as help implement poverty reduction projects in localities, etc. Over the past years, the Fund supported over 500 billion VND for the island areas, hospitals, medical centers, including presentation of gifts, construction of charity houses and schools, provision of medical equipments, etc.
