Vietnam evangelical church inaugurates new rural bridge in Tien Giang

The Vietnam Evangelical Church (South)’s Representative Committee in Tien Giang province in collaboration with the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held on April 26 a ceremony for inauguration of the new rural bridge located in My Thanh Nam commune, the province’s Cai Lay district.

The ceremony saw the presence of Pastor Vice President of the Evangelical Church Phan Vĩnh Cự, Pastor Superintendent of Cai Lay Protestant Church Lê Văn Như Kỷ, and Pastor Phạm Thanh Loan, Chairman of the Church’s Representative Committee cum Superintendent of My Tho Protestant Church.

Guests at the event included Vice President of the provincial VFF Huỳnh Văn Hải and representatives from local authorities.

The rural bridge named Dat Lang with 12 meters long, 2.7 meters wide and 2.5 tons of weight has been completed at the total cost of over VND 129 million.

Early, the church’s representative committee in Tien Giang province has started the construction of the rural bridge located in Chau Thanh district’s Phu Phong commune. The rural bridge is expected to be completed in two months at the total construction cost of VND 210 million.
