Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church visits VFF ahead of traditional New Year

Pastor Huỳnh Huyền Vũ led a delegation of the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church to visit the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on January 25 on occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year.

Welcoming the delegation, Vice President of the VFF Committee Nguyễn Văn Pha praised the Protestant Church’s dignitaries and followers for their contributions to the cause of national construction and defense, including social charities and practical activities for environmental protection and climate change adaptation. He also expressed hope for further promotion of the Church’s fine traditions and progressive values for building prosperity in the country.

The VFF leader also took the chance to extend Tet greetings to visiting members and dignitaries and followers of the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church.

According to Pastor Huỳnh Huyền Vũ,  Head of the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church, the church was established upon a separation from the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in 1962, obtained the Vietnamese State’s organizational recognition in 2009, and currently has nearly 180,000 followers in 55 provinces and cities across the country.
