Vietnam Buddhist Sangha sponsors bridge construction, construction of chairtable houses in Ben Tre

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s central committee for social charities on December 23 inagurated a rural bridge and presented charitable houses to two disadvantaged families in Ben Tre province’s Mo Cay Nam and Chau Thanh districts.
Joining the ceremonies for the bridge and charitable houses inauguration included Venerable Thích Trí Huệ, head of sub-committee for external charities and international relations under the VBS committee for social charities, and representativies of concerning provincial authorities and local authorities of Mo Cay Nam district.
As reported, the inaugurated bridge located in Bình Khánh Tây commune was completed after one month of construction with 15m long, 3.5m wide and at the total investment of VND 90 million.
Meanwhile, the charitable houses handed over to the two families of Mr. Trần Công Đức in An Khanh commune and Mrs. Nguyễn Trương Việt Hương in Tan Thanh commune, both in Chau Thanh district, were completed with VND 40 million each house.
