The Executive Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha chapter in Ninh Thuan province held on July 19 a meeting for reviewing its performance in first 6 months of 2019.
The meeting taking place at Sung An pagoda located in the province’s Phan Rang – Thap Cham city saw the presence of Chairman of the Executive Committee Senior Venerable Thích Hạnh Thể, heads of pagodas, and Vice Chairman of the provincial religious affairs committee Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên praised practical contributions of the Buddhist executive committee in charity, social works and closely coordination with local authorities for taking care of poor people and contributing to socio-economic development in the locality.
