The Vietnam Baptist Church held on June 15-16 an executive meeting to review its performance in the first half of the year 2018.
The two-day event taking place in Ho Chi Minh City’s district 9 was attended by President of the Vietnam Baptist Church Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám and about 100 pastors, commissioned pastors and missionaries of the church.
Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Tấn Hùng attended the event and introduced key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree No. 162 to the Baptist participants.
The GCRA Vice Chairman also praised the church for outstanding half-year results and took the chance to call on the Church’s followers make further contributions to socio-economic development in the country.
