Vietnam Baptist Church delegation pays working visit to Ca Mau provincial Religious Committee

Ca Mau provincial Committee for Religious Affairs received a delegation from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Baptist Church (Southern) on Nov. 5.

The delegation comprises of 11 members who are pastors and commissioned pastors of the Church led by Pastor Chairman of the Church’s Executive Committee Nguyễn Thông.

Welcoming the delegation included Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department Trần Thanh Hóa, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Hòa Dựa.

Pastor Nguyễn Thông took the chance to thank the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs under the Home Affairs Department for its welcome and shared with the guests on delegation’s activities in Southwestern provinces including meetings with pastors, commissioned pastors and followers in Ca Mau province.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Director Trần Thanh Hóa expressed hope that the Vietnam Baptist Church in general and the Church’s dignitaries and followers in Ca Mau province in particular would continue to make practical contributions in social charity activities and patriotic emulation movements launched by local authorities, and well implement the Church’s operation motto "Living the Gospel, worshipping God, serving the Fatherland, closely accompanying the nation and observing the law ".
