The Vietnam Assemblies of God Church held on April 12-14 a Biblical training in Lam Dong province for its deacons and followers from the church’s congregations.
The training with the theme “Be strong to grow” was chaired by Head of Sinai 2 congregation in the province’s Bao Lam district K’PhiLíp and attended by Pastor General Superintendent of the Vienam Assemblies of God Dương Thành Lâm and about 600 dignitaries, deacons and followers of the church from Lam Dong and other provinces.
The event’s opening ceremony also saw the participation of representatives from the provincial committee for religious affairs.

In addition to biblical preaching and prayers during the three-day training, the church presented VND 50 millions to the funds for supporting the poor and building charitable houses set up by local authorities.

The Vietnam Assemblies of God was granted the registration operating certificate in 2009. Lam Dong province is currently home to about 4,200 followers of the Vietnam Assemblies of God with 59 congregations.
