Vice State President Nguyễn Thị Doan received typical religious women who are members of the Vietnam Women Union Executive Committees

On October 9th, 2014, Vice President Nguyễn Thị Doan had a reception with a delegation of typical religious women who are members of the Vietnam Women Union Executive Committee. Joining the delegation were Mr. Dương Ngọc Tấn, Vice-Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, and Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Hòa, President of the Vietnam Women Union (VWU)
Currently, there are 491 female religious dignitaries and deacons who are members of the Vietnam Women Union (VWU) Executive Committees at all levels, including 98 typical women who have made outstanding contributions to the national building in localities.
Vice President Nguyễn Thị Doan praised and appreciated efforts and contributions made by women, especially religious women. Vice President affirmed that in the history and as well as in the recent time, religious women have joint with national women to create fine traditions of Vietnamese women, worthy of golden words that Uncle Ho awarded them "Bravery- Staunchness -Faithfulness- Resourcefulness”
On the same day, the delegation visited and laid wreaths at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the national heroes monument in Hanoi.
