The advisory council on religious affairs under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFF) held on March 15 a meeting to review its performance 2017 as well as point out the working plans for 2018.
The event was chaired by Vice President of the VFF Ngô Sách Thực, and attended by members of the advisory council.
As reported at the meeting, in 2017, the advisory council well implemented its functions related to religious affairs. In particular, the council has held meetings fot collecting feedback on the two decrees on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and draft degree on sanctions for administrative violation in the field of belief and religion.
According to Vice President Ngô Sách Thực, results of the reviewing meeting will be also sent to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs for references and consideration
