On November 8, President of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyễn Thiện Nhân attended the national great unity day in Hoa Lac A commune, Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province.
At the reception, President Nguyễn Thiện Nhân praised the locality’s achievements in poverty reduction and urged local authorities and residents to work together in developing production through the collective model.
He also urged local authorities to further education, training and vocational guidance to help graduates find stable jobs while continuing action plans on poverty reduction.
On the occasion, he presented gifts to disadvantaged people in Chau Thanh district.
