Attending the event was members from the Church’s Executive Committee and representative committees in provinces of Kien Giang, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang, and 130 dignitaries and deacons from the Church’s 49 parishes.

As reported at the meeting, under the Church’s motto “Revive the faith mission – save humanity – serve the Fatherland”, dignitaries and followers of the Church have proactively engaged in social and charitable activities, including supporting construction of local bridges and road systems, providing relief to victims of natural calamities and support to the poor, with a contributing value of approximately VND 14 billion for the year 2016.

Acknowledging practical contributions to social development in the locality, Ca Mau provincial authorities awarded certificates of merit to 14 groups and 55 individuals from the Verity Caodai Church for their roles and efforts in social charities in 2016.
